The IMC Buying Group is a consortium of independent menswear retailers who combine their buying expertise to maximise margins. Consisting of over 100 members, the main events are the biannual IMC Buyers Weekends where carefully selected suppliers are invited to exhibit, allowing members to buy from them with preferential terms.
Whittlebury Park is a 4 star hotel, with 211 bedrooms, including individually designed suites, 4 restaurants and one of the largest spas in the country with 22 treatment rooms and some of the latest in Heat and Ice facilities. There is also a leisure club at the hotel.
Showcasing the finest in independent menswear, with UK exclusives just for members. From head to toe, all suppliers at the show are hand picked with preferential terms already negotiated just for members.
A Brief History
The IMC Group has been operating in one form or another for more than 30 years. The birth of the ABC group – the forerunner to the IMC – was the idea of Norman Highton, who felt that independent menswear specialists should join forces to buy certain products and therefore enjoy the advantages of scale.
